- The final one is the pods. Despite being the simplest detergent to measure among three types, pods are adequately dangerous, especially for babies and pets. Their colors and size often make pets and kids think that they are candy or toys.
Therefore, it’s best not to use pods when you are raising one of those two objects or store them in a high shelf. So your kids and pets will not have any chance to touch them.

About the washing purpose: What I mean is that the item that you want to wash and how you want to wash them. Each item requires a different amount of detergent.
For example, if you want to make your carpets smell good, fill one-fourth of the measuring cup with detergent and put it in a steam cleaner. If you want to pre-treat the stains, half cup of detergent, over 30 ounces of warm water, and a bottle for spraying will be what you need.
Or if you hand wash and want to keep clothes smelling good, ½ cup of detergent and about 32 ounces of water are the perfect amounts.

Therefore, the best order is water, detergent, and then, clothes. In that way, the detergent will be spread and distributed equally to the water and all of your clothes. Your clothes will have the longest-lasting smelling ever.
